Handling of personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to determine a natural person,
ie information that identifies persons. This includes in particular names, e-mail

Personal data will only be collected, used and disclosed by us if legally permitted
or if the user has consented to the data collection.

The use of personal data of students for the purpose of study is based largely on
the applicable Hessian Higher Education Act in conjunction with the applicable
Enrollment Ordinance of the State of Hessen and thus refer to EU GDPR Article 6
Paragraph 1 c).

The data of the employees of the Goethe-University collected and processed for the
purposes of personnel administration, teaching, r
esearch and examination activities
are based on the Hessian Higher Education Act, the
Enrollment Ordinance of the
State of Hesse, TV-GU, civil service law and personnel law r
egulations.

Access data / server logfiles

When accessing the pages of this web server, the following data is generally stored
in the server
