Scanning / writing CDs and DVDs

Where to scan

In the basement at room 011 you will find a workstation with scanner just next to
the door. You may use the scan application xsane. Alternatively you may use
the graphic program gimp.

Writing CD/DVDs

Each workstation at the Fischer rooms provides a DVD writer.
The installed (Nero like) writing software is called k3b.
