RBI Account

The RBI provides user accounts on request. This account provides e.g.

• access to the PC Pool (Fischerräume) workstations
• access to the Computer-Lab (R 026) workstations
• a RBI email address
• a printout quota
• the possibility to create a homepage in the /WWW directory
  of your account
• access to the scanner of the RBI (R011)

The standard quota for RBI users is 5GB disc space (in your home directory) and a printout
quota of 500 printouts/semester.

Entitled groups of persons

Entitled are all students, staff members and associated members of the Department of
Computer Science and Mathematics.

How do I get an account?

To get an user account you need to apply. The registration form is provided in the RBI and
as Download.

Please post the form to the white postbox in front of  R011. Few days later
you may get your username and initial password at the RBI. Please have your Goethecard
ready on collection.
